A Path of Presence, Wisdom, and Wholeness
Yoga, as I have come to know it, is a gentle return to self through reflection, insight, and embodiment.
My work arises from a deep devotion to yoga as a living path of awakening and integration. I teach to create a space where body, mind, and spirit may meet in harmony. Where breath becomes a bridge, movement an offering, and the practice a steady companion through life’s many seasons.
What It Means to Practice Yoga
Yoga is not about achieving a shape or pushing past limits. It is about cultivating awareness, discernment, and relationship. Through consistent practice, we learn how to meet effort and ease, how to navigate the fluctuations, and how to listen inwardly more deeply. Over time, yoga becomes a trusted place to return, a way of tending to the whole self with patience, love, and care. Its benefits are cumulative, subtle, and lasting. Yoga asks for time, presence, and commitment; and it gives back in quiet, enduring ways. With practice, you gain tools you can rely on: steadiness in uncertainty, clarity in transition, and a deeper sense of connection to yourself and the world around you. This is not a quick fix, but a lifelong relationship, one that continues to support you long after the class ends.
My Yogic Path
My yoga journey began in 2011, during a time when I was both a dancer and a student in the medical field, seeking clarity and a more meaningful way of living. What began as personal exploration soon revealed itself as a calling, one that continues to unfold through years of study, practice, and teaching. My training reflects a reverence for yoga as a holistic system of healing and integration. I completed my first teacher training in Sivananda Yoga in Europe, grounding me in classical philosophy, devotion, and disciplined practice. This foundation was deepened through advanced studies in Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga and Yoga Nidra in India, where yoga is lived as a way of life rather than an activity.
Further training in Integrated Vinyasa in Colorado, along with continued studies in Yin, Restorative, Chair, and Aerial Yoga in Florida, expanded my understanding of accessibility, adaptability, and nervous system care. More recently, my work in a recovery center inspired specialized study in Yoga for Recovery, reinforcing yoga’s capacity to support healing on every level. With over 1,000 hours of training and more than a decade of teaching experience, my offerings are grounded, thoughtful, and deeply human; honoring yoga’s spiritual roots while meeting the realities of everyday life.
